If you want a toll-free fax number, FaxItNice is a very competitively priced online fax service. FaxItNice doesn't offer local numbers but offers (866) and (877) numbers. Faxes received through FaxItNice are above average quality. FaxItNice's customer support is poor; we couldn't reach them by phone and it took them a day and a half to respond to our emails. FaxItNice offers a 15-day free trial that comes with 20 fax pages.

FaxItNice does not offer local numbers in any states. However, they do offer (866) and (877) numbers. They do not let you port a number in or out.

Sending and Receiving Faxes

The faxes received through FaxItNice are above average quality with fairly clear images. You can send two documents at once, and each one can be up to 100 MB. You can fax one recipient from the interface and an unlimited number of recipients if faxing from your email. They do not allow you to preview your fax before sending it out or schedule the delivery of your faxes. They offer free online fax storage for a month, which is comparable to what other online fax services offer. Their service is Mac-compatible and they let you set an unlimited number of email addresses to send and receive faxes.

Pricing

Their Prepaid Premium plan is $9.99 a month, and there is a $20 start-up fee, which is added to your account balance when it drops below $5. The plan includes 500 combined free incoming and outgoing pages. Their monthly price of two cents per page and 10 cents for incoming/outgoing overage pages meet the standards of a typical online fax service. They offer a free trial of 15 days or 20 pages, whichever is up first.

Customer Support

FaxItNice only offers FAQs and email support for their customer service. We were not able to reach them by phone, and they did not return any of our calls. It also took them a day and a half to respond to our emails.
