Fax Number Options

FaxAway only has local numbers available in Seattle, Washington. They do not offer any toll free numbers and you cannot port a number in or out.

Sending and Receiving Faxes

The faxes received using FaxAway are above average, with decent image quality and exceptionally clear text. You can fax five minutes worth of documents, which is usually between 30 to 40 pages.There is a 1 MB limit on faxes. You can send a fax to thousands of recipients through a broadcast. They do not allow you to preview your fax before sending it out or schedule the delivery of your faxes. But, they do allow you to store 20 faxes online at a time.  Their service is also Mac-compatible. You can select up to 250 email addresses to send and receive faxes.

Pricing

FaxAway has no monthly fee, but there is a $10 starting balance you must pay that goes towards your future faxing charges. They charge a $1 maintenance fee for online fax storage, and this maintenance fee includes unlimited incoming faxes. The outgoing overage pages are 11 cents per minute anywhere within the contenintal U.S. FaxAway does not offer a free trial.

Customer Support

FaxAway's customer service includes FAQs, phone, and email support. Their phone support is available Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and their average wait time is three to five minutes. We found their customer support to be above average, and they were able to answer all of our questions.
