Fax Number Options
FaxAge has local numbers available in 48 states and Washington D.C. When choosing your local number, you can select by area code and city. They offer (800), (866), (877), and (888) numbers for free. It costs $20 to port a number in and out with FaxAge.
Sending and Receiving Faxes
We found the quality of the faxes received using FaxAge to be average. You can send an unlimited number of documents at once to an unlimited amount of recipients. The vendor does not let you preview your fax before sending it or schedule the delivery of your faxes. They do, however, offer unlimited online fax storage, which is far exceeds the 30 days the majority of online fax services offer. They also offer a blocked/allowed phone call list that prevents your account from being charged for blocked calls. Their service is Mac-compatible, and you can send and receive faxes from an unlimited number of email addresses.
Pricing
The monthly fee for their Professional plan is $7.95 and there is a $5 startup fee. The plan includes 300 free incoming and 300 free outgoing pages, which are not combined. The price per page is about one cent, which is much cheaper than most other services. At only five cents per page, incoming and outgoing overages are also much cheaper than typical online fax services' overages of 10 cents. They do not offer a free trial period.
Customer Support
Faxage's customer service includes FAQ, phone, and email support. Their phone customer support hours are Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. MST and there is no wait time. We found their customer support to be very friendly and knowledgeable and their email response to be fast and accurate.
