Conclusion:

ClickFax is a very expensive online fax service option. ClickFax has local fax numbers in 30 states and offers (800), (866), (877) and (888) numbers for an additional $1 per month. ClickFax's software is very difficult to use, and we weren't able to test the quality of faxes. We contacted ClickFax on numerous occasions and never received a response back from them. ClickFax offers a 15-day free trial.

Fax Number Options

ClickFax has local numbers available in 30 states. When choosing your local number, you can choose by the state and the area code. (800), (866), (877), and (888) numbers are available for $1 a month. You cannot port a number in or out with this service.

Sending and Receiving Faxes

We were not able to test the quality of ClickFax's faxes because faxing with their service is difficult and not user-friendly. You can fax an unlimited number of documents at once, but they do not allow you to schedule the delivery of your faxes. They offer 30 days of online fax storage, which is typical of other online fax services. Software is required to use their service, and their software is not Mac-compatible. You can send and receive faxes using up to 20 email addresses.

Pricing

The monthly fee for their Bud S&R plan is $9.95, and there is also a $9.95 startup fee. The plan comes with 50 free incoming and outgoing pages, which are combined. Their price per page is 20 cents, which is significantly more expensive than the three cents per page offered by many other online fax services, but you can receive a 20% discount on all pages if you prepay. Their incoming and outgoing overage pages are 10 cents, which is comparable to the rates charged by other services we've reviewed. ClickFax offers a 15-day free trial period.

Customer Support

The only type of customer service ClickFax offers is email support. We found their support to be completely unresponsive after we attempted to contact them numerous times.
