AirComUSA Review

Pros:

  • 30-day free trial period
  • Excellent customer support

Cons:

  • Charges $12.00 upfront for future overage fees
  • $10 start-up fee
  • Separate allotment for send and receive fax pages
  • Offers local fax numbers in only 10 states
  • No online interface
  • No online fax storage

Conclusion:

AirComUSA is very expensive, considering you pay a monthly fee to use their service and don't receive any free fax pages. AirComUSA offers local numbers in 10 states and (800), (866), and (888) numbers at no additional charge. Sending and receiving faxes with AirComUSA is easy, but it's important to note that you must send and receive faxes by email. AirComUSA also charges you $12 up front for future overage fees. AirComUSA's customer support is very helpful, and AirComUSA offers a 30-day free trial.

Fax Number Options

AirComUSA provides local numbers for 10 states and the Washington D.C. area. When choosing your local number, you may select by both area code and city. The service also provides (800), (866), and (888) toll-free numbers at no additional cost. AirComUSA will not port a number in or out.

Sending and Receiving Faxes

Since AirComUSA has no online interface, the limits on number of documents attached and number of recipients fax at one time are determined by your email client. There is no way to preview a fax or schedule it for later delivery. AirComUSA does not offer online fax storage, which does not meet the typical 30 days free fax storage other online fax services offer. Their service does provide a blocked/allowed phone call list so that your account isn’t charged for blocked faxes.  The service is Mac-compatible. AirComUSA allows you to send and receive faxes using up to five different email addresses.

Pricing

AirComUSA charges $8.95 per month for monthly service. They also exact a one-time $10 start-up fee, which is not typical of other online fax services. Also, they charge you $12 up front for future overage fees. This plan does not include any free incoming or outgoing pages. AirComUSA charges 10 cents per page sent or recieved, which is very expensive when compared to typical rates of three cents per page. If you would like to test their service, AirComUSA offers a 30-day free trial period.

Customer Support

AirComUSA offers both phone and email customer support. Phone support is available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. MST. We found customer service to be very helpful, and we experienced minimal or no wait times and were never put on hold.
